Directions to Cranfield Aviation Training

Directions from Johannesburg

• From the N3 Highway towards Roodepoort, take the William Nicol off-ramp
• Turn right at the top of the off-ramp, over the highway, towards the Fourways Mall
• Go through 3 sets of traffic lights and keep in the left lane of William Nicol
• Take the slip road opposite Monte Casino, left into Witkoppen Rd.
• Once in Witkoppen, turn right at the next traffic lights into Cedar Avenue (This is the road to Lanseria Airport)
• Go through 5 sets of traffic lights (the fifth traffic light is at Broadacres),
• Just after the bend to the right, turn left at the 6th traffic lights into ‘Chartwell’ 3rd Avenue.
• Once in 3rd Avenue, go straight through the 4-way stop, then straight through the 3-way stop
• Approx. 700m further down the hill, turn right into 4th Road (opp. Chartwell Country Lodge)
• Cranfield is the 2nd gate on the left (green gate), with a 'Cranfield Aviation' sign

Coming From Pretoria:

• From the Krugersdorp Highway, take the Lanseria off-ramp
• Turn right at the top of the off-ramp
• Take the first road right, this is the R552 towards Fourways
• At the T-junction turn left and then immediately right onto Cedar Avenue towards Sandton
• Travel through the big dip, up the hill, round a long bend to the right and then a straight, (approx. 5km)
• Go past Dainfern entrance (Pick ‘n Pay Shopping Centre)
• At the end of this straight turn right at the first traffic light into ‘Chartwell’ 3rd Avenue
• Once in 3rd Avenue, go straight through the 4-way stop, then straight through the 3-way stop
• Approx. 700m further down the hill, turn right into 4th Road (opp. Chartwell Country Lodge)
• Cranfield is the 2nd gate on the left (green gate), with a ‘Cranfield Aviation’ sign
